Senior Structural Engineer

Location: Mat-Su Valley

Duties: Provides structural solutions to support projects including calculations, design development, bid documents, specifications, field inspections, and construction engineering support.

Requirements: 5-10 years relevant experience ** B.S. in civil or structural engineering ** Alaska P.E. in Civil/Structural Engineering or be willingness to obtain an Alaska P.E. in the near future ** Knowledge of codes, statutes and laws related to structural design and construction projects ** Excellent organizational and project task skills ** Proficiency with basic workplace and engineering software including word processing,spreadsheet and database applications ** Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written ** Strong problem-solving abilities ** Must possess good interpersonal skills ** Willingness to travel as necessary for project requirement i.e. Arctic environments ** Must be willing to relocate to the Matanuska-Susitna Valley in Alaska
