Accounting Analyst

Duties: Sets up Authorizations for Expenditure (AFEs) in accounting system after approval and validation ** Prepares monthly account reconciliations for multiple accounts ** Opens and closes Insurance AFEs ** Processes Inventory and Accounts Payable transaction integrations ** Processes accrual and reversal journal entries ** Enters Equipment Allocation journal entries ** Processes month-end transfers and reclasses ** Provides support for Property Addition and Retirement activities ** Manages filing and Records Transfer Orders for Property, AFE and Tax files ** Other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Requirements: 3 to 5 years experience with similar duties ** Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred ** Advanced skills in Excel ** Knowledge and use of integrated financial system software, preferably Oracle ** Excellent verbal and written communication skills ** Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment ** Experience working within the oil industry a plus ** Experience working in construction and property accounting disciplines preferred ** Knowledge and use of Business Objects Reporting tool preferred.
