Project Lead - Anchorage-based
Assignment Duration:
1 to 2 years at least
Travels up to 25% of time to North Slope of Alaska
Duties: Responsible for Health Safety and Environmental delivery of assigned project; implements project execution processes and ensures adherance to established project procedures; ensures that technical Integrity/Quality of Surface Facilities is achieved in accordance with Client targets; ensures that project costs are well defined and that work is completed within budget; assists in the development of annual capital budget; provides monthly Work In Place and project budget forecasts; establishes & maintains schedules for all projects and ensures that targets are met; coordinatse with Planning and Control to ensure that an integrated cost and scheduling system is implemented for every project; responsible for ensuring that projects are designed and constructed to achieve first year operability targets; ensures that appropriate project assurance steps are conducted throughout the project life cycle; ensures that projects are managed such that all Client approvals are secured when appropriate in order to achieve project objectives and schedules; ensures that projects are executed in a manner to achieve permit and regulatory compliance; ensures that transition plans for projects to Operations are prepared, agreed to and appropriately implemented; responsible for continuous improvement of project execution phase; ensures completed documentation is turned over; completes and documents post-project reviews.
Requirements: 5 to 30 years of experience in project management, engineering and construction in Oil or Gas; Bachelor's degree in engineering; experience with projects ranging in value from $100K to $100MM is preferred; background experience in project management process from conceptual through project closeout; must have strong organizational and communication skills; must possess the ability to work with multiple suppliers of engineering and construction services; must have the ability to gather and prioritize recommendations, needs, and concerns from various groups; experience with delivering Health, Safety and Environmental objectives for projects.
