Human Resources Coordinator

Duties: Screens & reviews resumes for position openings ** Interviews applicants ** Processes new candidate files **Assists in selection of new hires ** Processes new hire paperwork (Obtains I-9, W-4, prepares send-out packets) ** Tracks Applicants in Resume Log ** First point of contact for callers and walk-ins ** Deactivates and reactivates candidate files ** Checks references and verifies applicant data ** Updates and creates new forms ** Adheres to legal employment practices in hiring ** Maintains strict confidentiality policies ** Other duties as assigned.


Requirements: 2 years relevant HR experience ** Excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills ** Ability to work with a variety of people on a professional level ** Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team ** Self-motivated and self-directed, with ability to take direction from others well ** Human Resources experience required** Ability to make decisions and use sound judgement ** Desire to work within the Human Resources profession** Bachelor's degree preferred** Experience with Word, Excel and Outlook.

Schedule: Part-time position, 25 hours/week
