Contracts Specialist

Oil & Gas Industry

Duties: Works with business representatives to secure the supply to meet business demands in individual’s assigned market sector/areas of responsibility ** Applies procurement processes in compliance with Company policies and works with colleagues to ensure process is applied both rigorously and efficiently ** Implements appropriate contractual and commercial terms and conditions to protect Company's position ** Complies with Company's ethical and diversity expectations in all procurement and supply chain activities ** Leads development of specific market sector strategies, approaching the market, selecting suppliers and support implementation of effective Supplier Performance Management ** Assesses specific market sector risks and opportunities and manage these within context of business needs ** Leads work with suppliers to ensure standardization, technical optimization, value delivery, process improvement and continuous improvement.

Requirements: 5+ years demonstrated experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management and/or related function ** Upstream or related industry experience preferred ** Specific market sector knowledge in Operations and Maintenance areas of the business is a plus ** Experience of working with or for the industry’s primary suppliers and contractors is a plus ** Degree in Business, PSCM, Engineering or other discipline preferred ** No certifications required, but ISM (Institute of Supply Management) or similar accreditation is a plus.
